Today, 30 of our Year 8 pupils enjoyed exclusive behind-the-scenes VIP access to Haydock Park Racecourse. They discovered how mathematics plays a vital role in the sport — from calculating odds to measuring weights and gained a fascinating insight into how numbers underpin every aspect of racing.
